To ensure we deliver on our commitment to Families of Fallen Soldiers, we are pleased to announce the implementation of The Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) network. The SOS is a comprehensive, multi-agency and multi-component approach to service delivery.

We are honored to serve all of the Family members of Fallen Soldiers within our two state area of operation (AOR), Oklahoma and Arkansas.

While Family members of the Fallen will continue to have a Casualty Assistance Officer (CAO) assigned to them, there will now be a long term Support Coordinator located at Army Community Service available to Survivors who are interested in “staying in touch” with their extended military family. The Support Coordinator will serve as a guide through the multiple agencies available to assist Survivors.

Some of these SOS agencies are listed below:

Survivor Outreach Services are available to all Survivors, not just Survivors of the current conflict, and are available until the Survivor desires to discontinue service. The support and assistance established under the SOS umbrella will allow us to better service our surviving Family members over a longer period.
